Generational Practice

One of my passions as a chiropractor is taking care of kids. The office visits I look forward to most are newborns. There are few things more heartening than seeing the clear expression of health in the light and life of a child. I see newborns and toddlers and kiddos and teenagers because as we grow the nervous system fires and wires within the ecology of the body. We inhabit the space of the body within the larger space of the environment. There are biological, emotional, mental, and social aspects to this, all of which use and require the nervous system to coordinate between and find balance within these systems.

Chiropractic clears the interference that clouds the connection within and around these developing bodies, these developing people, these developing ecosystems.

Those ecosystems are significantly influenced by adults: parents, family, and teachers. Adults set the tone and provide reference for the art and manner in which growing up happens. The shape, tone, and tension in the adult nervous system will directly reflect the shape, tone, and tension of the environment they help to create.

The same is true for our elders. On a longer time scale, more more experience means more opportunities for pain and humility and the deep sense that life is and can be beautiful.

A family practice, over time, becomes a generational practice. Chiropractic has and will continue to add life to years, no matter how many more seasons lie ahead.
